She also has a miniature Christmas ornament for my first holiday with the family. The mini decoration consists of a pair of red baby booties with “baby’s first Christmas” written in gold. It appears as if the little note was written by hand. I’m not sure if my mother wrote it herself or if the person who bought it for her did.

Since I am an only child I was anxious to give her another “baby’s first Christmas” decoration for her tree. I am also expecting and I wanted to use a miniature Christmas ornament for the announcement.
